Does anyone use them for junior golf? I know this summer on the US Kids tour, all the parents had one. Now that we are playing NTPGA, very few are used. I'm looking at a Garmin S1 golf GPS watch and was just curious if anyone had an opinion.
The way I understand it, they are OK for tournaments as long as it only measures yardages. It can't show hazards or green info, but legal if it only shows yards.

eeing off with friends or business acquaintances is one of the best ways to cement relationships. However, the game is still a competitive one and you will want to do your best in it. Investing in some good equipment is the first step. Technology has come a long way in the game of golf and there is now a golf-based GPS that many avid golfers invest in. What this essentially is is a mapping of all the best golf courses in the world. SkyCaddie Golf

GPS devices are allowed in all tournaments we played and you are correct, yardage only We have a Bushnell which was around 160.00 at Dick's Sporting goods. I recommend using them whenever you can..
